The short version: ready-to-ship pieces are paid in full at checkout and are final sale. Made-to-order pieces start on a 50% deposit. Every frame carries a 10-year structural warranty.

who you're buying from

brambleliving.com is run by PT Clearly Ambiguous Concepts, trading as Bramble Living, with a showroom at Jl. Umalas No.11, Kerobokan Kelod, Bali.

Every piece is made in our family's own factory in Solo, Central Java, where we've been making furniture since 1991.

ways to buy

Ready to ship. These pieces are already made, upholstered and waiting at our factory. Each one is sold exactly as listed: the dimensions, fabric, finish and configuration on its page.

Made to order. We make the piece for you, in the fabric and finish you choose. Pieces from our collection typically take 6 to 8 weeks in production. Changing the dimensions makes a piece bespoke, which is quoted individually and usually takes 8 to 10 weeks.

Display pieces have spent time on our showroom floor. They're sold in the condition shown.

prices and payment

Prices are in Indonesian rupiah and include tax.

Ready to ship: paid in full at checkout, using any of the payment methods shown there.

Made to order: a 50% deposit confirms your order and starts production. The balance is paid once the piece is finished and ready to leave the factory.

Your order is confirmed once your payment has cleared. Ready-to-ship stock is limited, so each piece goes to whoever completes payment first. Once your payment clears, the piece is yours and comes off the website.

delivery

Ready-to-ship pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 working days of your payment clearing. Made-to-order pieces are dispatched once they're finished and the balance is paid. Travel time depends on where you are, and we'll agree a delivery date with you.

• Bali, within 30 km of our Umalas showroom: free
• Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi: Rp 1,000,000 per order, however many pieces, for pieces shipped from our factory
• Bali beyond 30 km, and the rest of West Java and Banten: we'll confirm the delivery cost with you before we dispatch, whatever checkout shows
• Anywhere else in Indonesia, or overseas: quoted individually. Message us with the address. International shipping is container-based, and we hold our own export license.

Pieces from our factory travel in cartons. Display pieces leave from our Bali showroom, so the Rp 1,000,000 rate doesn't apply to them, and delivery outside Bali is quoted.

We deliver to your door. Before you order, measure doorways, stairs and lifts against the dimensions on the listing, and tell us about any tight access so we can plan around it. Someone needs to be there to receive the piece.

when it arrives

Check your piece on delivery and note any visible damage on the handover before you sign.

If anything isn't right, whether that's damage, a defect or the wrong piece, message us on WhatsApp within 72 hours of delivery with your order number and photos or a video. You don't need to work out what went wrong. We'll look into it and put it right with a repair, a replacement or a refund.

natural materials

Solid wood has grain, knots and small variations in tone, so no two pieces are quite alike. Fabric colors can look slightly different on a screen than in daylight. If you'd like to see a fabric in person, the showroom is the place to do it.

changes, cancellations and returns

Ready to ship: final sale once your order is confirmed. Each piece is sold as listed.

Made to order: each piece is built specifically for you, so it can't be returned or exchanged for a change of mind. We confirm the fabric, dimensions and configuration with you in writing before production starts.

Whichever way you buy, if your piece arrives damaged, defective, not as listed or simply the wrong one, that's on us, and we'll put it right as described above.

warranty

Every Bramble Living piece carries a 10-year structural warranty on the frame, from the date of delivery, for residential use under normal household conditions.

the small print

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We may update them from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
